Mandatory disclosures under the Action free access to information

(a) The reason and manner of establishment of the obliged entity, including the conditions and principles under which it operates

The State Investment and Development Company, a.s. (hereinafter referred to as "SIRS") is a joint stock company established by the Czech Republic, which is the sole shareholder and exercises its shareholder rights through the Ministry of Industry and Trade. SIRS is a commercial corporation established to create suitable conditions for strategic investors. SIRS is engaged in the revitalisation of brownfields and the search for other suitable sites with an area of over 40 hectares and prepares their basic technical infrastructure for investment development for strategic investors.

(b) Description of the organisational structure, the place and manner of obtaining relevant information, where to submit a request or complaint, make a proposal, suggestion or other request and/or obtain a decision on the rights and obligations of persons:

Information, complaints, motions and requests can be submitted to:

(c) the place, time limit and manner in which an appeal may be lodged against decisions of the obliged body concerning the rights and obligations of persons, including an explicit indication of the requirements imposed on the applicant in this respect, as well as a description of the procedures and rules to be followed in such actions, and an indication of the relevant form and the manner and place where such form may be obtained.

Appeals against decisions or actions of the SIRS in relation to the provision of information may be lodged with the Data Protection Authority through the contacts listed above. There is no prescribed form for submission. In other matters, the SIRS does not currently act as a decision-maker on the rights and obligations of persons.

(d) An overview of the most important regulations under which the obliged entity acts and decides in particular, which provide for the right to request information and the obligation to provide information, and which regulate other rights of citizens in relation to the obliged entity, including where and when these regulations are made available for consultation.

The SIRS currently acts and decides towards third parties in cases where it decides on their rights and obligations only in the case of the procedure under Act No 106/1999 SB on free access to information, as amended. This Act is available here. This legislation is available for inspection by appointment at the SIRS headquarters.

(f) An annual report for the preceding calendar year on its information provision activities (§ 18) or a reference to the data published in accordance with the procedure referred to in § 18(2) in the central register of annual reports in the field of information provision (hereinafter referred to as the "central register").

It will be produced for the first time for the year 2024.
